What I do with your Google Ads data.

Short version: I read your ad account to find wasted spend, I change nothing without approving it myself, I do not sell your data, and you can pull my access any time.

Who I am

Growth With Neil is a one-person Google Ads management service based in Singapore. I manage Google Ads for Singapore small businesses. You keep your own Google Ads account and pay Google directly. This page covers the Google data I handle for clients, and the software I built to help me audit and manage those accounts.

What I access

Only Google Ads account data, and only after you give me access to your account. That means campaigns, ad groups, keywords, negative keywords, search terms, network and location settings, conversion actions, and cost and performance figures. I use the Google Ads API scope that Google calls “adwords”. I do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.

What I do with it

I use it for one purpose: finding wasted ad spend in your account and fixing it. The software reads your account, lists the changes it thinks are worth making (for example, blocking a search term that cost money and never converted), and shows me the evidence.

Changes to your account happen only after I review them myself and approve them with a typed confirmation. The software cannot approve or apply a change on its own. Anything it changes can be reversed.

AI processing

To judge whether a search term is relevant to your business, I may send the text of search terms, plus campaign names and your business description, to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). I send it for that purpose only. I do not send your passwords, payment details or customer contact details, and I do not use your data for advertising or to build profiles of people.

What I store, and where

I keep a working copy of your account data (the figures above, plus a log of what was proposed, approved and changed) in a database on systems that I control. Access is limited to me. Credentials that let the software read your account are kept in protected local configuration and are never shown on screen, in reports or in logs.

Who I share it with

Nobody, except the service providers needed to run the work (Google, which hosts your account, and the AI provider described above). I do not sell your data. I do not share it with other clients. Reports I produce for you are for you.

How long I keep it, and deletion

I keep your data while we are working together. If you stop working with me, or ask at any time, I stop reading your account and delete the stored copy within 30 days. To ask, message me on WhatsApp.

Taking my access away

You are always in control. You can remove my access yourself, at any time, without asking me: in Google Ads, open Admin, then Access and security, and remove my user; and at myaccount.google.com/permissions you can remove this app's access to your Google account.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Growth With Neil's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this page

If how I handle data changes, I will update this page and the date below before the change takes effect. Last updated 26 October 2026.
